ANTA Student Bursary

To be eligible you must be a student currently enrolled in a course recognised by ANTA on a full time or part time basis in undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

Each year ANTA awards 7 students with an ANTA Bursary of $1000.

Students can apply for an ANTA annual bursary by:

  • Submitting a written assignment completed as part of their current studies

OR

  • Submitting a written assignment on a topic of the student's choice relevant to natural therapies

Written assignments should be:

  • Between 1000 and 3000 words
  • Lodged online via the ANTA website

Each year the closing date for lodging submissions is the 1st November and ANTA Bursary Awards are announced early in the following year.

 ANTA National Bursary Award Guidelines

Each year ANTA is making available to students 7 bursaries of $1000 each.

The ANTA National Bursaries have been established to encourage and assist students to maximise the opportunities provided in their education and assist  students to achieve their aims and goals in natural therapies.

ANTA believes that as far as possible a student's financial situation should not be an impediment in the pursuit of a career in natural therapies.

ANTA also provides students with the opportunity to join as a student member at no cost. (click here to submit your ANTA Student membership application on line)

Students are encouraged to submit an application for an ANTA Bursary of $1000.

ANTA National Bursary Awards are open to students who are enrolled in a course recognised by ANTA (click here to see courses recognised by ANTA). 

ANTA Members who are undertaking further studies and are enrolled in a course recognised by ANTA are also encouraged to apply for an ANTA Bursary.

Students can be enrolled in a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate course on either a full time or part time basis.

To apply for an ANTA Bursary:

  • submit a written assignment completed as part of their current studies

or

  • submit a written assignment on a topic of the students choice relevant to natural therapies

Written assignments should be between 1000 and 3000 words, if assignments are referenced, a recognised referencing protocol is to be used

Aassignments should be lodged on line via the ANTA website

The closing date for lodging submissions is the 1st November each year and ANTA Bursary Awards are announced early the following year.

Recipients of $1000 ANTA Bursaries will be determined by ANTA and will be based on quality, scope and content. Recipients of ANTA Bursaries will also receive an official ANTA certificate recognising the award.

Bursaries will be presented to recipients at annual graduation ceremonies (even if a recipient is not graduating).

ANTA reserves the right to where possible, publish student bursary submissions on the ANTA website and in the ANTA journal The Natural Therapist.
